Privacy Policy

BLOX values your privacy. We treat your information the way we'd want ours treated: carefully, honestly, and with as little of it as possible.

This policy explains in plain language what we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control of it. If anything is unclear, use the in-game feedback button — a real person reads it.

What we collect

• Account details — a username and an email address, when you create an account.
• Your creations — your builds are saved on your device, and if you use cloud save, through your account so they follow you.
• Basic technical information — like most websites and online games, we keep a routine technical record of visits. That record may include things such as your network address, a rough location derived from it, general information about your browser and device, and the pages you visit. We use it for security, abuse prevention, and understanding overall traffic.
• Optional game telemetry — only if you choose to turn it on: general technical details about your device, how the game performs, and a log of gameplay activity.

That's the whole list. BLOX has no advertising, and nothing here follows you around the web.

Why we collect it

• Your username identifies you and your creations in the game.
• Your email lets you recover your account when you need it, and lets us reach you about your account if we ever have to.
• Your creations are saved through your account so your work is still there when you come back.
• Technical and telemetry information helps us keep BLOX secure and stable, and make it better over time. It's about the game running well — not about building a profile of you.

Consent

Optional telemetry is off by default. We only collect it after you explicitly choose to turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time — we stop collecting from that moment. Basic visit data is always recorded when a page loads, the same way it is on almost any website.

Creating an account means you agree to us holding your account details. Telemetry is separate: it's always your choice.

How we share information

Put plainly: we don't sell, rent, or trade your information, and we don't hand it to advertisers, marketers, or data brokers. It stays with the team that runs BLOX. Other players never see your account details, and nothing you give us is made public.

There are narrow situations where we may have to disclose information: when the law requires it, in response to a valid legal request such as a subpoena or court order, or when we believe it's genuinely necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of our players, the public, or ourselves. When that happens we keep it to what the request actually calls for.

Session and local storage

When you log in, we keep a session token in your browser's local storage for 30 days so you stay signed in. You can log out or clear your browser's site data at any time to remove it.

Storage and security

• Your information is held in an encrypted database, and passwords are stored as secure hashes — never in plain text.
• We make encrypted daily backups so your information survives accidents.
• Everything travels over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS).
• Access is limited to the people who need it to run the service, and we collect the minimum we need.

Children

BLOX is not aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it promptly.

Your data, your control

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete your account and the information tied to it — send us a request with the in-game feedback button. We'll respond and take care of it.

You can also delete your own builds in the game at any time.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here and refresh the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll let you know in the game or by email.
