This policy explains what BLOX collects, why we collect it, and how you can control it. It's written in plain language — if anything is unclear, email us at support@bloxbuilder.io.

What we collect

• Account info — a username and an email address, when you sign up.
• Your builds — your game builds are saved on your device, and if you use cloud save, a copy is stored on our servers tied to your account.
• Optional telemetry — only if you give consent: your IP address (as seen by our servers), browser type, a device fingerprint, screen resolution, play time, and an event log.

That's it. BLOX has no third-party trackers and no ads.

Why we collect it

• Your username identifies you and your builds in the game.
• Your email lets you reset your password (we send a reset link to your inbox) and lets us contact you about your account when needed.
• Your builds are your work — local saves let you play offline, and cloud saves keep your creations safe across devices.
• Telemetry helps us see how the game performs and fix problems. It's about making BLOX run better, not about profiling you.

Consent

Telemetry is off by default. We only collect it after you explicitly choose to turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time — we stop collecting from that moment.

Creating an account means you agree to us holding your account info. Telemetry is separate: it's always your choice.

Session and local storage

When you log in, we keep a session token in your browser's local storage for 30 days so you stay signed in. You can log out or clear your browser's site data at any time to remove it.

Storage and security

• Your data is stored in an encrypted database, and passwords are stored as secure hashes — never in plain text.
• We make encrypted daily backups so your data survives accidents.
• Everything travels over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS).
• We limit access to your data to the people who need it to run the service, and we collect the minimum we need.

Children

BLOX is not aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it promptly.

Your data, your control

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it — just email support@bloxbuilder.io. We'll respond and take care of it.

You can also delete your own builds in the game at any time.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here and refresh the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll let you know in the game or by email.
